This guide contains references to, mappings to, and dependencies on third-party specifications, terminologies, code systems, value sets, and supporting artifacts ("Third Party IP"). CDISC standards and terminology

The xShare work leveraged the CDISC standards and terminology while advancing interoperability across healthcare, public health, and clinical research. The CDISC standards are to be used in accordance with the CDISC Intellectual Property Policy, which ensures that the CDISC standards remain the property of CDISC such that they can be used openly without royalties being initiated by users/developers for the use of the standards and in alignment with the current and future CDISC IP policies. Other terminology systems

This guide may reference additional third-party terminology systems, including but not limited to SNOMED CT, LOINC, UCUM, and NCI Thesaurus content. Each of these systems is governed by its own license terms. Implementers are responsible for obtaining and complying with all licenses required for the jurisdictions, deployment settings, and use cases in which their implementations operate.
