SNOMED CT is the terminology first choice in Belgium.

Action items:

  • We would need an overview of where Loinc is the first choice (f.e. lab results, some vital signs)
  • There seems to be a need for a mapping: If a vendor provides Loinc where Snomed is the first choice, we would expect both to work. This needs to be brought to the agenda of the FHIR validation team.
