The Trial Period Extension allows for the capture of information relevant to the trial period. This differs from the ServiceRequest.occurrence[x] in that the trial period is not when the service is to be performed, but rather a period of time during which a patient can try out a particular treatment or intervention to see how it works for them before making a final decision about whether to proceed with it.
