A notification that retracts a fact of death previously conveyed, for example because the death record was voided or was registered against the wrong individual. The Death Date observation in a void message carries status 'entered-in-error'. A receiver that acted on the retracted notification is expected to reverse the death it recorded, which is why retraction is a first-class message rather than a correction.
