Public health agency partners should familiarize themselves with health information technology (HIT) regulatory and certification requirements. This includes a review of the existing regulations, including (g)(10) and (g)(20) certification requirements for HIT (both Public health agency and EHR), United States Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI), and the CMS Interoperability and Prior Authorization final rules.
