Context of Use

This extension may be used on the following element(s):

An extension to indicate whether a practitioner (through a role), service, or location is accepting new patients.

Consists of:

  • newPatients.acceptingPatients - a boolean indicating whether the entity is accepting new patients
  • newPatients.network - a reference to a healthcare provider insurance network for which the entity is/isn't accepting new patients
