The “main” DAK document (this is the template for the final PDF)

Written in Word document, published in PDF

The template for the “main” DAK document. The narrative text can and should be changed as needed for each specific health domain. However, highlighted throughout the document are places where health domain specificity should be added.

The following narrative components: health interventions and recommendations (component 1), generic personas (component 2) and user scenarios (component 3) can be directly edited and drafted within the DAK document template.

The generic business processes and workflows diagrams would be generated in another tool, such as Camunda Modeler. The selected tool should:

  • be able to export the diagrams in .bpmn format;
  • not pose issues in terms of licencing.

The freely available tools we have identified so far, that respect the requirements above are:

Note: To facilitate the development of downstream layers (L3, L4) it is recommended to use Camunda Modeler because this tool produces .bpmn files that contain the structure and metadata needed for an easier drafting of related L3 content.

For the core data elements/data dictionary (component 5), decision-support logic (component 6), scheduling logic (component 7), indicators and performance metrics (component 8), and high-level functional and non-functional requirements (component 9), it is recommended that they are finalized in the Excel spreadsheet first before copying content over into the “main” DAK document.

Please refer to each Excel spreadsheet for detailed instructions.
