Structures: Resource Profiles

These define constraints on FHIR resources for systems conforming to this implementation guide.

PH Core Condition

Captures Condition.

PH Core Encounter

This profile sets minimum expectations for an Encounter resource to record, search, and fetch basic encounter information for a patient. It is based on the FHIR R4 Encounter resource and identifies the additional mandatory core elements, extensions, vocabularies and value sets that SHALL be present in the Encounter when conforming to this profile. It provides the floor for standards development for specific uses cases in a Philippine context.

PH Core Immunization

Describes the event of a patient being administered a vaccine or a record of an immunization as reported by a patient, a clinician or another party.

PH Core Location

This profile localizes the FHIR R4 Location resource to the Philippine context.

PH Core Medication

This resource is primarily used for the identification and definition of a medication, including ingredients, for the purposes of prescribing, dispensing, and administering a medication as well as for making statements about medication use.

PH Core Medication Administration

Captures key FHIR Medication Administration data for the Philippine context.

PH Core Medication Dispense

Captures key FHIR Medication Dispense data for the Philippine context.

PH Core Medication Request

Captures key FHIR Medication Request data for the Philippine context.

PH Core Medication Statement

Captures key FHIR Medication Statement data for the Philippine context.

PH Core Observation

Measurements and simple assertions made about a patient, device or other subject.

PH Core Organization

This profile localizes the FHIR R4 Organization resource to the Philippine context.

PH Core Patient

Captures key demographic and administrative information about individuals receiving care or other health-related services.

PH Core Practitioner

The PH Core Practitioner Profile inherits from the FHIR R4 Practitioner resource; refer to it for scope and usage definitions. This profile sets minimum expectations for the Practitioner resource to record, search, and fetch basic demographics and administrative information about an individual practitioner in a Philippine context. It specifies which core elements, extensions, vocabularies, and value sets SHALL be present and constrains how the elements are used. It provides the floor for standards development for Philippine use cases.

PH Core PractitionerRole

The PH Core Practitioner Role Profile inherits from the FHIR R4 PractitionerRole resource; refer to it for scope and usage definitions. This profile sets minimum expectations for the PractitionerRole resource to record, search, and fetch basic demographics and administrative information about an individual practitioner role in a Philippine context. It specifies which core elements, extensions, vocabularies, and value sets SHALL be present and constrains how the elements are used. It provides the floor for standards development for Philippine use cases.

PH Core Procedure

An action that is or was performed on or for a patient, practitioner, device, organization, or location.

PH Core Provenance

This profile localizes the FHIR R4 Provenance resource to the Philippine context, capturing key information about who, what, when, and where for a set of resources. It is used to track the authorship and history of healthcare data in Philippine health information systems.

PH Core RelatedPerson

This profile localizes the FHIR R4 RelatedPerson resource to the Philippine context.

PH Core ServiceRequest

The PH Core ServiceRequest Profile is a Philippine-specific FHIR profile that represents a record of a request for services such as diagnostic investigations, treatments, or operations to be performed within the Philippine health system. It constrains the base FHIR ServiceRequest resource by defining minimum expectations on core elements, extensions, vocabularies, and value sets relevant to local clinical and administrative workflows. It serves as a nationally consistent baseline for recording, searching, and fetching service request information to support interoperable health information exchange across Philippine health facilities and programs.

PH Core Task

This profile localizes the FHIR R4 Task resource to the Philippine context.
