  • MITRE is a not-for-profit organization working in the public interest across federal, state and local governments, as well as industry and academia.

  • The development of the BFDR and VRCL implementation guides by the development team was performed under contract to The Centers for Disease Control (CDC), National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), Division of Vital Records (DVS) under the direction of the project facilitators.
  • STU1 and STU1.1 versions of these guides were developed using Trifolia-on-FHIR and professional guidance provided by Lantana Consulting Group.

Generous guidance on FHIR Shorthand and SUSHI was provided by Chris Moesel. The data dictionaries were produced using the makeIJEMappingFromCSVtoHTML.rb script developed by Rob Passas and Patricia Tran.
