Evaluate patient data and recommend patient referral based on specific criteria.
Evaluate patient data and recommend patient referral based on specific criteria.
The system assists evaluation of certain patient conditions which may lead to a recommendation for referral, for example, for smoking cessation counseling if the patient is prescribed a medication to support cessation screening or assessment for behavioral health conditions. Additionally the system may present recommendations based on other orders – for example, an order for Adriamycin, where additional testing such as a MUGA (heart) scan or an Echocardiogram should be completed prior to administration, could result in a recommended referral to radiology, and/or cardiology.
