HL7 FHIR Implementation Guide: Public Health IG Release 1 - BE Realm | STU1, published by eHealth Platform. This guide is not an authorized publication; it is the continuous build for version 1.0.2 built by the FHIR (HL7® FHIR® Standard) CI Build. Artifacts Summary

This page provides a list of the FHIR artifacts defined as part of this implementation guide.

Structures: Logical Models

These define data models that represent the domain covered by this implementation guide in more business-friendly terms than the underlying FHIR resources.

Logical model for population screening event

Logical model for recurrent population based screening. The model represents one iteration of a screening, called episode. A patient can have multiple episodes for a given screening. A screening of a specific type for a given patient can be repeated after a certain period. Each time the screening is repeated results in a new episode.

Logical model for population screening plan

Logical model for recurrent population based screening. This model represents a screening plan for a patient for a given cancer type.

Structures: Resource Profiles

These define constraints on FHIR resources for systems conforming to this implementation guide.

Population Screening Appointment

Appointment Profile for population screening

Population Screening Encounter

Encounter Profile for screening - participation in population screening

Population Screening Observation

Observation result of screening

PopulationScreening Communication

Communication following a patient’s screening activities.

PopulationScreening Follow Up

An indication of which actions a patient can take next, or which follow up examinations are proposed. This is a proposal. This resource exists to notify the patient that the patient should request additional examinations if the result was positive. If the screening was negative, no follow up examination is expected - so no instance of this resource is expected.

PopulationScreening Plan

A longitudinal plan for a patient’s screening activities. This resource exists to articulate the different activities as part of following a defined plan for certain populations.

Terminology: Value Sets

These define sets of codes used by systems conforming to this implementation guide.

Population Screening Follow-up Advice Value Set

Possible follow up actions

Population Screening Next Invitation Type Value Set

Value Set containing the codes for the type of the next invitation (or exclusion of next invitation)

Population Screening Type Value Set

Value Set with the codes for the type of screening

PopulationScreening Body Site Value Set

Body site or location on body

PopulationScreening Result Value Set

Result

Terminology: Code Systems

These define new code systems used by systems conforming to this implementation guide.

Population Screening Next Invitation Type

Code System containing the codes for the type of the next invitation (or exclusion of next invitation)

Terminology: Naming Systems

These define identifier and/or code system identities used by systems conforming to this implementation guide.

cvko-id

Internal id for identification of resource with cvko

Example: Example Instances

These are example instances that show what data produced and consumed by systems conforming with this implementation guide might look like.
