This value set includes a subset of the LOINCs found at https://loinc.org/sars-cov-2-and-covid-19/ that identify COVID-19-related laboratory tests. Only those laboratory tests that include qualitative results we believe to be useful in SMART Health Cards are included.

This value set includes a subset of the LOINCs found at https://loinc.org/sars-cov-2-and-covid-19/ that identify COVID-19-related laboratory tests. Only those laboratory tests that include qualitative results we believe to be useful in SMART Health Cards are included.
The purpose of this value set is to provide Issuers guidance on what LOINCs Verifiers are likely to expect in a COVID-19-related SMART Health Card. It is possible to construct a fully valid SMART Health Card that identifies a laboratory test with a LOINC not in this list, but it may be less likely that a Verifier will have included such a LOINC in their logic for processing the SMART Health Card data.
This ValueSet is programmatically generated by this script.

Explanation of the columns that may appear on this page:
Level | A few code lists that FHIR defines are hierarchical - each code is assigned a level. In this scheme, some codes are under other codes, and imply that the code they are under also applies |
System | The source of the definition of the code (when the value set draws in codes defined elsewhere) |
Code | The code (used as the code in the resource instance) |
Display | The display (used in the display element of a Coding). If there is no display, implementers should not simply display the code, but map the concept into their application |
Definition | An explanation of the meaning of the concept |
Comments | Additional notes about how to use the code |
