Provide the ability to update and maintain information regarding public health notifications.

Description I:

Public health updates may be applicable to entire geographic regions or specific to a specific locale or diagnosis. The system should allow the PHR Account Holder to identify the types of public health updates that are of interest. The system should also allow a PHR Account Holder to be notified of other public health occurrences which may affect an entire population.

The system MAY provide the ability to render notifications to the PHR Account Holder based on the recommendations of public health authorities according to PHR Account Holder's preferences and/or consents, organizational policy, and/or jurisdictional law.
