description	The US Core RelatedPerson Profile inherits from the FHIR [RelatedPerson](https://hl7.org/fhir/R4/relatedperson.html) resource; refer to it for scope and usage definitions. This profile sets minimum expectations for the RelatedPerson resource to record, search, and fetch basic administrative information about persons with a legal or familial relationship to a patient. It specifies which core elements, extensions, vocabularies, and value sets **SHALL** be present and constrains how the elements are used. Providing the floor for standards development for specific use cases promotes interoperability and adoption.	A person represented using the ADI Healthcare Agent Profile and referenced from the ADI Healthcare Agent Consent Permit profile is appointed by the patient as an Authorized Personal Representative permitted the typical or jurisdictionally recognized powers granted to the role of healthcare agent. The person’s specific healthcare agent role, i.e. healthcare agent, primary healthcare agent, secondary healthcare agent, tertiary healthcare agent are specific within the ADI Healthcare Agent Consent Permit profile, and may be constrained through a nested ADI Healthcare Agent Consent Deny profile.
