Guidance (Usage) The composite score is calculated as a weighted aggregation of component measure performance rates. Each component measure score is multiplied by its assigned weight, and the weighted component scores are combined to determine the overall composite performance rate. Denominator exclusions, denominator exceptions, and numerator exclusions are applied within each component measure prior to weighted aggregation. Risk adjustment variables X, Y, and Z are applied to the calculated composite performance rate.
