These files, and/or documents may include scanned images or electronic images sent via attachment. The system does not judge the authenticity of the document. The system may allow for multiple instances of the same document (e.g., multiple authorizations). The system may allow for retiring but tracking of documents no long used. The system should support the removal of documents as request by the patient via their Personal Health Record system.</p>
