IG Change History

STU1 Publication

The following is an overview of the STU1 Release 1.0.0 publication of the IG.

1. The IG defines the MedMorph Reference Architecture for both Public Health Reporting Use cases and for Research Data Submissions.
2. The IG defines the concept of Knowledge Artifacts and how these can be used to automatically extract data from EHRs and make decisions on sending the extracted data to Public Health Agency or Research Organizations.
3. The exact content and format of the data to be sent will be defined by Content IGs which are created using the Reference Archtiecture for each use case.
4. Currently there are content IGs for Central Cancer Registry Reporting, Healthcare Surveys Reporting and for Research Data Exchange.
