This code system contains codes for documenting the attributes of the FHIR resource Validation to reflect the business process of validating information in a Healthcare Directory.

initial InitialValidation is only needed after initial attestation. For elements that typically do not change such as 'medical school attended and graduation date'.

attested AttestedIndicates the element or resource has only been attested.
validated ValidatedIndicates the element or resource has been successfully validated.

fatal FatalA failure that is likely relevant to local workflow environments, considered sufficient to suspend the resource/element and one or more action has been taken.
warning WarningA failure that may be relevant to some local workflow environments, but in and of itself is not consider sufficient to suspend the resource/element. E.g. validating membership in an organization.
recordonly Record onlyA failure that may be relevant to some local workflow environments and will be documented but not result in notification or publication of the error.
